Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026Effective date: October 8, 2026General educational services

This policy describes cookies and similar technologies associated with a Shopify-hosted website and explains what the educational features of this website do themselves. The educational page features add no analytics, advertising pixels, or cookie-based form storage.

01

What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website or service asks a browser to store. A browser can send it back during later requests, allowing a service to recognize a session, remember a setting, or support a technical operation. Cookies are distinct from ordinary text that you type into a form.

Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, pixels, embedded scripts, and device or network identifiers. They do not all work in the same way or serve the same purpose. The enquiry form sends your details through Shopify’s contact-form service. Its reference code is included in the confirmation URL so you can identify your request.

02

The website configuration covered here

The website is designed for Shopify with educational page features. Those sections provide navigation, educational content, local interactive exercises, and an enquiry modal. The website features do not include a third-party analytics tool, advertising network, social embed, embedded map, chat widget, or newsletter tracker.

Shopify, the active theme, existing apps, and store-level settings can introduce technologies outside those sections. The final set of cookies therefore depends on the live storefront configuration. This policy does not describe an unused app as if it were installed, and it does not promise that the Shopify platform never processes technical identifiers.

03

Essential platform technologies

Necessary technologies may support safe delivery of the storefront, basic session behavior, abuse prevention, load balancing, and the preservation of a privacy preference. These functions can operate even when a visitor is only reading educational information. Where a technology is strictly necessary for a requested service, applicable rules may permit it without optional consent.

An essential classification must reflect the actual purpose of a technology. A marketing or profiling cookie should not be called essential merely because it is useful to a business. If optional tools are introduced, they should be assessed separately and controlled in a manner appropriate to the relevant rules and the visitor’s location.

04

Preferences and functionality

A platform or theme may remember a language, region, consent choice, or other user-selected preference. Some preferences last only for a browser session; others persist so a visitor does not have to choose them on every visit. Whether a particular preference exists depends on enabled storefront features.

The Kingswell Editorial page interactions do not require persistent preferences. The website index opens and closes in the current page. The Clarity Lab remembers its selected tab only while that page remains loaded. Program buttons place a selection in the open form without creating a cross-visit profile. Refreshing the page restores the initial interaction state.

05

The enquiry form and browser behavior

The enquiry form checks a name, email address, selected program, learning question, and agreement to contact about the enquiry. When you submit, Shopify processes the details and routes the message to the store’s configured contact email. A successful submission displays confirmation and a reference code. The educational page code does not save the message in browser storage; Shopify may use essential session and spam-prevention technologies to operate the form.

Browser autofill, password managers, extensions, operating-system features, and a shared device may behave differently. Their storage is managed by the software or device you use rather than by this website form. If you are using a shared device, consider clearing visible entries and reviewing the browser’s autofill settings before leaving it.

06

Analytics, advertising, and embedded content

No analytics, advertising pixel, remarketing audience, or behavioral advertising script is included in the supplied Kingswell Editorial sections. The illustrations and fonts are intended to be served as uploaded Shopify files, and the sections do not load a separate map, video player, social feed, or external font service.

If store-wide apps or optional tracking tools are added later, the policy and privacy controls must be updated to describe the actual provider, purpose, relevant data, and available choices. Optional processing should not be activated through a misleading essential-only notice. Existing store integrations should also be checked when the sections are installed.

07

First-party, third-party, and duration

First-party technologies are associated with the site being visited. Third-party technologies are associated with another service or domain involved in a page or request. A Shopify-hosted storefront can use platform infrastructure even where the visible site belongs to Kingswell Editorial.

Session cookies typically expire when a browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until they are deleted. Exact names and durations can vary with platform version, storefront features, and configuration. Rather than inventing a fixed cookie inventory, this policy describes the supplied functionality and requires any live optional integrations to be documented accurately.

08

Managing choices on the storefront

Where Shopify customer-privacy controls are enabled for your region and the active configuration, the storefront may provide a privacy or cookie-preference interface. Use that interface to review available choices and change an optional preference. The interface is a platform feature and is not created by the educational page code.

A preference should govern the technologies to which it applies. Changing a website choice may not automatically remove information already held by an independent provider, and deleting cookies may remove the record of the choice itself. If an optional service has its own account or privacy controls, those may need to be managed separately.

09

Managing choices in your browser

Most browsers allow you to inspect stored site data, delete cookies, block some or all cookies, and set permissions for individual sites. The location and wording of the controls vary by browser and device. Use the help provided by the browser you currently use rather than relying on a setting name that may have changed.

Blocking necessary technologies can affect website delivery, security checks, or remembered preferences. Deleting site data can reset a privacy choice and other settings. Private-browsing modes may reduce persistence after a session but do not make all network activity anonymous or prevent every provider from processing technical request information.

10

Consent signals, updates, and questions

Browser privacy signals and region-specific requirements should be handled through the applicable platform controls and actual integrations. We do not claim that the local educational features alone implement every consent or opt-out requirement. They avoid adding optional tracking and leave platform-level privacy management to the storefront configuration.

This policy should be reviewed when an app, embedded service, tracking tool, or significant storefront feature changes. Its last-updated date appears above. If you would like clarification about the local interactions or a technology you observe on the website, contact Kingswell Editorial and describe the page, browser, and relevant observation without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
