This policy applies to visitors to our website, people who contact us through the enquiry form or by email, and people who discuss or book our educational services.

The policy concerns our handling of information. Shopify and any independently chosen communications or payment provider may also process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not claim control over every technical operation of those providers. Where a provider is involved in a booking, its role should be explained before you are asked to use it.

The website enquiry form

The enquiry form asks for your full name, email address, selected program, learning question, and agreement to be contacted about your enquiry. It also includes an enquiry reference code. We use these details to receive and answer your message, discuss an appropriate program, and manage related correspondence.

When you submit the form, your details are processed by Shopify’s contact-form service and delivered to the store’s configured contact email for Kingswell Editorial to review. After successful receipt, the website displays a confirmation and reference code. Please include only information relevant to your enquiry.

The form does not place your entries in cookies, local storage, or session storage. Submitted details are processed by Shopify and used for the related correspondence. The page fields are reset when you open a new enquiry. Your browser, extensions, device settings, or autofill tools may handle information independently of our code.

Information you provide directly

If you contact us by email or another direct channel, we may receive your name, contact details, the program that interests you, your learning question, and any material you choose to send. If a booking is agreed, correspondence may also include scheduling details, accessibility preferences, agreed service scope, and records of the booking or payment.

Please provide only information relevant to the educational enquiry. Do not send identity documents, payment-card details, medical records, private information about another person, confidential business material, or material you are not authorized to share. A description of a learning topic will usually be sufficient for an initial discussion.

Technical information and Shopify

When you load a Shopify-hosted website, the platform and its infrastructure may process technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, access time, and diagnostic or security events. This information can support delivery of the website, protection against misuse, and platform reliability.

Why information may be used

Information sent directly to us may be used to answer a question, discuss a suitable program, agree a scope of work, arrange an educational session, provide learning materials, deal with changes or complaints, and maintain reasonable records of a service relationship. We may also use necessary records to meet applicable accounting, legal, or security obligations.

Submitting an enquiry permits us to respond about that request. It does not subscribe you to marketing. A separate marketing preference, if introduced, will be explained and managed through an appropriate mechanism. We do not use the website to make automated decisions about access to an accredited qualification, employment, credit, insurance, or regulated professional status.

Disclosures and service providers

Enquiry submissions, correspondence, and booking records may be handled by Shopify and providers needed to operate communications, deliver an agreed online session, maintain business records, or process a payment arranged separately. Only information relevant to the particular purpose should be shared.

We do not promise that disclosure can never occur. We do not operate a business model based on selling learner enquiry details or publishing participant material without permission.

Learning material and participant feedback

Exercises may use neutral educational examples or material you are entitled to share. Your private submissions should not be presented as public portfolio work without specific permission. The practice portfolio currently displayed on this website consists of identified curriculum demonstrations, not confidential client work.

Participant feedback may be published only after a genuine participant has approved the quotation and the identifying details to be shown. Empty feedback entries are labeled prompts, not reviews. Permission to receive educational services is separate from permission to publish a testimonial, photograph, name, or learning artifact.

Retention and deletion

We retain enquiry submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to answer the request, manage any related service, and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. You may contact learning@kingswelleditorial.com to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to records we are required to retain.

For direct correspondence, retention should be limited to what is reasonably needed for the enquiry, service relationship, dispute handling, and applicable obligations. Booking, payment, and accounting records may need to be kept longer than an unbooked enquiry. Retention can also be extended when a legal obligation or an active complaint requires preservation. You may ask us about the records associated with you and request deletion where applicable.

Security and your choices

We aim to limit collection, avoid unnecessary sensitive information, and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No website, email service, device, or online session can be described as completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive material through ordinary email or including it in a learning exercise.

You can choose not to contact us, limit the information you provide, correct an email or booking detail, and ask about information held in direct business records. You can also manage cookies through your browser and, where enabled, the storefront privacy controls. Blocking necessary technologies may affect the operation of the website.

Privacy requests and regional rights

Depending on your location and the law that applies to the relevant processing, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to particular uses of personal information.
